We are based over two floors in the Royal Harbour Hotel, which has spectacular sea views over the Ramsgate Royal Harbour in Kent. Our clients have full use of the hotel amenities and services, include meeting rooms, high speed broadband, free international calls, not to mention the finest sunsets, and sandy beaches that so inspired turner and van Gogh.
Our Primary objective is to be a unique one - stop - shop for independent filmmakers in the UK, and and facilities have been set up to enable the production of low budget feature films by means of business advice, development, facilitation, production and post-production.
We hope to encourage autonomy and inspire the UK independent film industry.
Travel Details and Directions
General timings:
We're about 60 minutes from the Blackwall Tunnel or the Queen Elizabeth Bridge over The Thames at Dartford. (Don't forget your £1.00 coin for the toll charge!) Gatwick airport is easily reachable in about 75 minutes and the Heathrow area. Heathrow Airport is about 100 minutes away.
From London:
Take the M2 onto the A299 and then onto the A253 to Ramsgate.
Follow signs to the seafront.
When you reach the seafront by 'The Churchill Tavern', Nelson Crescent is the first turning on your left.
From the M25 west:
Exit at junction 5 onto the M26. Exit at junction 3 onto the M20.
Exit junction 7 onto the A249 which takes you onto the M2.
Head south towards the A229, onto the A253 to Ramsgate.
Follow signs to the seafront.
When you reach the seafront by 'The Churchill Tavern', Nelson Crescent is the first turning on your left.
From Kent International Airport:
Just 10 minutes away by taxi just outside the village of Manston, about 2 miles west of Ramsgate. The entrance to the passenger terminal is on the B2050. More details can be viewed at their site Kent International Airport Manston
From Dover and Folkestone:
Driving northwards along the A256, we're about 30 minutes from Dover and 45 minutes from Folkestone. Most of the road is dual carriageway!
By Train:
